Disney to buy Apple... Disney to buy Apple... Disney to buy Apple...

Oops, Pixar to consider buying Disney.

Interesting twist on the old rumors that always seems to revist us.

Though it is sad that Disney has lost quite a bit of focus lately, while they strive for revenue at the expense of entertainment quality/content.

Hopefully Disney doesn't have a Bronfman style revenue grab fiasco, but it hasn't looked too good the way they have been handling some of their contract renewals lately.

Of course nobody wants to be a good old Blue Chip stock these days.

Is it just me, or does this seem kinda pointless? Comcast has publicly stated they want to take over Disney and renew Disney's old relationship with Pixar. To do this, Eisner would almost definately have to be canned. I'd be in support of the takeover. I don't get it.

Renewed relationship with a large distributor, and the outsting of Eisner... how is that not win-win? Why would they oppose that?

It wouldn't be Pixar ALONE buying out Disney, read the story again. Steve has LOTS of friends. I'd think he and few few rich friends would form a sort of company conglomerate and buy it out together. Anything to get ME out of there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roy Disney gets in the game here...

Figures. That'd give the M$ ****nozzles an ability to copy Jobs, in movie form (I mean more than by just throwing money at overrated Shrek and Ants). I'm sure if M$ buys Disney just like everything else Microsh** it'll suck up the joint.
