Wirelessly posted (iPod touch: Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F137 Safari/525.20)

Honestly, the main thing I'm hoping for is bug fixed that are helpful in helping safari not to crash as much. Also, I'm looking forward to being able to get podcasts on my iPod touch. If you search this you should get several threads talking about this subject.

I heard that they were improving google maps to include street view and subway directions. That is pretty cool!

all I want them to fix is the crashing in the safari and the lagging keyboard in the safari.

Considering that this update will encompass a number of bug fixes for the 2g touch I have my doubts that we'll be charged this time.

awesome. Mine just got 70 percent way through the update and then said there's a problem and bricked itself. SWEET!

I'm not gonna update tonight. Because it's problay just another useless update . Can someone tell me if they fixed the crashing in the safari ? Then it will be worth it to take my touch out of the box again. Also I thought I heard way back that they were reamping the safari and giving it a new look? Or am I just making this up?

Updated and installed, etc.

Nothing impressive or notable, they made the URL bar and the Google bar on the same horizontal line and when you hit one, the other goes off the screen.

Auto-correct is now turn off-able.

No google street view.

Lame.

The entire system seems very quick, more like it did before the 2.0 update. One thing that is cool about podcasts is that you can stream them from the store by double tapping the title. (both video and audio)

That is a bummer. I can't believe after hearing of street view all this time they decided not to implement it on the touch. Yet another Apple letdown.
