Uh oh...how do I get my "Downloads" back on my Dashboard?

I accidentally dropped my "Downloads" folder thing and it poofed away in a cloud of smoke. Can I get it back on my dashboard?
 
Get your Downloads back on your dashboard or the dock? If it is the latter, you just drag it back to the dock. I'm not quite sure what the former means...
 
OP might be talking about the Finder sidebar?

Either way, just go your Home folder and drag the Downloads folder back to the sidebar/dock.
