Will my phone be locked if i install 2.2?

Hey guys,

I have an unlocked but NOT jailbroken 1st gen phone.

Will i have to use pwnage tool again or can i just install the itunes update/

Actually, I believe it was stated that there was no baseband update for 1st gen phones, so if you update I think you'll be good.
 
Let me know how it goes!

I know the 1st gen iPhones haven't been relocked since 2.0
 
the only reason it would relock would be if you did a restore/upgrade. Then it would relock. That is what they said on the dev team blog.
