Not sure if this is old news or not, but, WOW, that's a lot of coin for a project the guy created in his spare time.

Developer strikes it rich with iPhone game

Bonus: a picture of Nicole Lapin.


Great game too, I bought it months ago.

Too bad that's not really possible anymore. He made it by having a game at launch, and showing videos and getting coverage before launch. Now that there's 1700 games in the App Store, you'd have to do a LOT of advertising to get ANYWHERE near that many sales.
