Updates on the 17th?

Smalldog Computer has listed the dates that they receive new refurbished macs as the 17th. In addition, their stock is extremely low of powermac G5s and the Dual 1.8 has been backordered on their site for weeks.

In addition, IBM will be demoing their new chip this week at ISSCC.

Also, I have seen 3 mac rumor sites (four if you include Neat Gekko) that believe that powermac updates are due sometime in February or in a matter of weeks.

I have seen some powerbook rumors as well but not as many as the powermac.

I think it is very possible that the 17th could be the day.:cool:

But next week is also the week of the Mini-iPods. Do you think they would release new hardware when the new pod ship? I wouldn't have thought so...

please remember neatgekko was saying absolutely in january and then recanted his story after promising to eat off his right hand if he was wrong.

The only reason NeatGekko thought they were coming out at MWSF was because he figured that they would be announced with the mini-ipods. His actual source said nothing about them being released at MWSF.
