I'm starting to save up to add an internal HD to my Dual 1.42 MDD... My internal + 2 FW externals add up to 325 Gigs of space - but that doesn't seem to be enough (I'm really surprised).
I would love to use this as an opportunity to speed up my system. Any recommendations for a reliable and fast Hard Drive that will fit into my Mac?
Is there a website that will show me what options exist for my particular system?
Thanks!

That would be nice!!! Now since I can't afford that I took a look at the 10k's - they look really good, but still a bit pricey for me for anything around 100gigs.

As you rightle figured I was joking.
In the Real world. Get a SATA PCI-X card, and a SATA drive @7200RPM or higher, from a reputable company eg, Seagate, WD, IBM, MAXTOR, etc...

thanks for the feedback - and the sense of humor ;)
That advice sounds right - get the faster card so I don't bottleneck because of a slowww connection type....
Will post as I get closer to purchase - but still taking any and all ideas.
