Doctor Who first aired 45 years ago today. (http://blog.wired.com/underwire/2008/11/bbc-throws-open.html)
Oh, and here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/doctorwho/gallery_genesis_of_doctorwho.shtml?id=gall01) are a ton of items in the BBC's online archive of Doctor Who.
It's a shame we'll only get a few long-episode shows next year.

This calls for a jelly baby or two in celebration. :)
Of course, it would be churlish not to mention MR's very own thread devoted to all things Who... (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=513524&highlight=dalek)

Happy birthday, Doctor :)
Must catch up on the earlier shows. I've only seen a couple of the long episodes (Genesis.. um... that's all I remember) and all the new ones.
