I currently have a 2.2Ghz Macbook pro, with 4GB ram, and I was looking into upgrading my 200GB 5400rpm hard drive to a G.SKILL FM-25S2S-128GB SSD.

Its currently $278 on newegg:

Any suggestions or recommendations? I don't really want to spend more then $400.

I was thinking about upgrading to the new Macbook pro, but its only .2 Ghz faster than what I have now and I don't think that will make as much difference in performance as upgrading my hard drive.

Thanks!

if you're just maxing the notebook out for the heck of it, stop lol. do you really need the SSD? Samsung and Intel makes SSDs. You might want to take a look.
