Few Questions before I update to 2.2 on iphone 3g

1. With quickpwn, using windows I will have to update using itunes which will update the baseband.
2. Since I'm on PC I won't have the ability to update using a custom ipsw file. Is there a way around it on PC to preserve my baseband?
3. With 2.2 do the Simunlocks work. I mean TurboSim solutions.

No with 2.2 there is no other way to preserve the baseband unless you use pwnage or download a custom 2.2 firmware. And yes if you update with a official 2.2 firmware your turbo sim will no longer work.
