Could you please tell me where I can get the icons that you have used in your theme and how do I integrate them into the theme that I am using.

You create a folder and name it Themed Icons, copy the icon folder into the Themed Icons folder then copy that folder into your var/stash/Themes folder... Then highlight/ turn them on with Winterboard. Respring and they should be visible... Enjoy!

I installed clear slider and have it activated above HTC grupppled in WB.

How do you change the htc/lockinfo clock from 24hr to 12 hr. I can't find the line to edit

The theme I'm using is a mix between basically illumine with the glass orb theme doc. The lockscreen is the HTC Lockstyle Gruppled tweak for lockinfo. Im also using a clear slider tweak I found on cydia.

EDIT: I also changed the dock a bit to add some color and changed the wallpaper on my springboard.

Something simple: Very nice... I assume that is a one page "theme? I use two pages myself with just the weather/ calendar and the dock visible on the first page and icons/shortcuts to Categories/ apps on the second page... From time to time I turn on vWallpaper and can see the video/ wallpaper fullscreen vs behind icons...

i will post my page by page wallpapers and icons for the SB but i use many icons and UI interfaces from other people, so will not upload without their knowledge, though i can tell you where to go.

To start with you must set up the whitoken theme layout. i will post a link to a good (if long winded) guide, but to speed up the icon placement (create iBlank icons section in the guide) you can install "Iconoclasm" and "whitoken theme layout" for iconoclasm from Cydia.

If you download the whitoken theme to help set up it will only included enough springboard shortcuts for 4 SB pages, but i will show you how to create your own...

This theme dramatically changes the stock apps UI, and if you dont like it this theme is not integral to the system. activate in winterboard

Illumine - i have included all icons on the SB in my theme (including a layout to create your own), but they are modelled on the illumine icons and so have that theme running under mine so my Filled away icons keep the same style. activate in winterboard

***NOTE: the large images on the SB's are part of the background of each page. I use Mquickdo and large apps muck up the appswitcher so each icon for that app is disguised as part of the image.
Because of this i have included a psd. and individual alternate .png pages minus the large image for you to re-name and replace.***

May be a couple weeks. I was owrking on a 266 quick and delnoch type fusion yesterday. Took me some time but it seems to be working fine. I'll post a picture if that once I get home from classes. Had a lot of trouble with having a bar for the text of icons. Ended up just editing a wallpaper for it though. Looks fine but I'm stuck with the wallpaper now lol.

Started with 266 Quick/System and mixed it up with Delnoch/Whitoken/Illumine. I really don't like using hte illumine icons for the most used but I don't know any other themes that would look better. Any suggestions?


I'll probably be keeping this for a while. School has started recently and havent had too much time to mess around with a Whitoken theme. Hopefully I'll finish the one I started soon and I'll have posts with that.

The rest might be GlassOrb ???

Probably a dumb question but here goes anyway. Using winterboard, can you download and install a theme but just use the dock and not change icons? Basically, all I want to do is use the 3D dock that is on iPod touches. Is there an iPod touch theme to do this?

You will have to ssh into the theme folder with the dock you want and delete everything except the Dock.png.

Find the new folder(theme) on you device via SSH... Look for "dock.png" in the folder.... Copy it to a new forlder on your computer... Name the folder what ever you want example, "3D Dock" Now copy this folder into your Themes folder on your device... Select this new folder in Winter Board... Respring and you should see the new(3D dock.)

Is there anyway to get a 7 day forecast for the weather?

Also, I'm assuming in order to change the weather you have to SSH into the files and manually change them.

However, What I mostly want to do is just have that weather widget you have but keep the stock Lockinfo 2.0.2.1. Is there anyway to have that?

I just jailbroke my 3GS w/ 3.1.2 firmware a few days ago, and I was wondering how some of you customize your springboard and lockscreen with such detail (ie custom icons, weather/time widgets, overall design, etc). Here is what I'm working with now, can anyone suggest any other themes, or how to download themes/icons/etc. off this forum and install them on my phone? Thanks.

LockInfo can be set to work on the lockscreen or homepage, you select it in:

Settings > Lockinfo

LockInfo can be set to work on the lockscreen or homepage, you select it in:

Settings > Lockinfo

And when you do that you cant have icons on the screen. Its not the lockinfo one, the dude linked to the one for the springboard below your post.

That theme's is called Delnoch. Not sure what he used for wallpaper rotation but I'd go with the Cydia app called Bosspaper.

I have the "Weathericon - TICK" theme applied through winterboard along with the Weather Icon app installed from cydia; changes the weather icon according to weather/time of day and changes the appearance of the weather icons on lockinfo, too.

There are a few other themes that give you different looks; just do a cydia search for "WeatherIcon."

It does it on it's own. You just set the frequency.

I like to keep my home page relatively clean, and then I have a few pages of default icons aswell after this home screen.

As for a name of the theme, couldn't give you one. It's a few themes added together and then some SSHing of icons etc.

I get bored easily though with themes and no doubt this will be changed by the end of the week.

there are ways to upload photos from the iphone to a photo hosting service (flickr, photobucket, mobileme, picasa, etc.) some free, some paid. Search the app store and use the corresponding service. You can hold the home button then quickly push the power button to take a screen shot on the iphone, then upload, then paste in this thread via safari!
