90% Battery and 1:18 to complete the charge!

I never remember my powerbook taking 1:18 to charge the last 10%. I know it takes longer than charging 0% to 10% but still 1:18 seems pretty long.

My Blackbook takes less than 20 minutes to charge the last 10% while I'm using it. I saw a thread about this a few weeks ago and decided to test it.

I will ask my friend who has the new 2.0 one how long it takes his. One hour and 18 minutes doesn't seem right to charge the last 10%.

All the Alu MBs do that. It's normal.

It really depends what he's doing when the computer is charging.. Programs running will effect charge time.
The last 10-20% seems to take the longest on my Mac also..

the new macbooks take a lot longer to charge that 1 hour + sounds about right.

Like the poster above said it must be the new one then. I ran some intensive stuff and it still charges the last 10% fast. Apple will probably give you guys an update in the future that will help with that.

Since you are an owner of a previous gen MB, do you remember if charging time was an issue when they first came out?!

Yea i think thats what we are talking about, the aluminum one.
Mine does the same thing pretty much. The last little bit takes the longest to charge.

I owned a Rev A Macbook (when they first came out) and it had no problem with it that I can remember. The Blackbook I have now (last Rev of the plastic ones) has no problems with it as I said. I have owned this one since July.

Apple will fix it in a software update I'm sure.
