What's the best way to get the most life out of an ipod battery. Should I let it run down before recharging or keep it plugged in when ever possible? Or does it not matter?
(in case it matters it's a new 20 gig ipod)

Since the ipod has a lithium ion battery, a partial battery discharge is ok, but only to around 40%. Letting a battery run dry is DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED except maybe once every 30 recharges, just to reset the digital counter. It will destroy your battery over time.
