I need a simple app that does this without having to go deep into preferences. I use my phone to call clients on occasion and I do not want them to have my personal number.

Does it exist, or is it possible to develop with the SDK?

I'm not sure if something like that would be possible through the SDK. I think there might be a jailbreak app that does that though.

I searched the App Store for "Caller ID," and I didn't find exactly what you are looking for. I did find RingCentral Mobile (here is the link) that allow you to use a RingCentral service to control what caller ID is shown. I have no idea how that service works or what it costs, but it is the only thing my quick search turned up that might be useful to you.

AFAIK there isn't one, also. Supposedly one was submitted to Apple last month, but it's more of a spoofing app, and so I would be fairly shocked if Apple accepted it.

Just a thought, but if you don't wish to Jailbreak, you can certainly also just program a prefix *67 into their phone number, in which case they will always be called caller-ID-blocked automatically...
