As the only Mac user (OSX Leopard) at our company I create Spec Sheets in InDesign and save them as PDFs. Worked fine in CS and regular old Tiger. Now upgraded to CS3 and Leopard and they won't print (and some won't even open) for PC users running Windows XP. Anyone have any insight? Is this a known problem? Basic but vital question.

Same issue causing fitful problems with Phaser Xerox 6250. Lots of error reports. Downloaded upgraded drivers to no effect.

Seems like a gap in technology/platforms here.

It depends on what versions of Adobe Reader they're using. Try outputting PDFs to PDF 1.4 or 1.5 (Acrobat 5 or 6) standard. See if that works.

It's at the top right of the PDF export box under 'Compatibility'. Once you find a setting that works, save it as a preset.
