This story broke a while ago... I remeber reading it. I dont see how it could have any negative effect on G5 prodution. If anything... it will be good for apple in the future. What I read before was that this new tech could mean CPU power up to 40 times the current chips... but thats all theoritical. The technology is years off from one of us Mac heads getting our hands on it.
