UK users - irritated by leading zero in 12 hour clock?

Are there any other UK users out there who are slightly irritated by the leading zero when using the 12 hour clock?

If so, I have a fix. It involves a fair bit of hacking but it does work. If anyone's interested I will write it up and post it.
