Hey everyone, I'm new to posting in the forums, but I've visited here a lot for questions that I've needed answers to in the past.

However, I call to you all now for a question that needs urgent attention:
My 13" white MacBook's hard drive has died on me, and I'm willing to simply replace it with a new one. However, I have no warranty with Apple, nor a desire to send it out to them and pay out the nose for a new one.

My question then, is will this hard drive I found on macsales work with my macbook?

Yes that will work as it is a 2.5 inch drive.

That's it? And the tutorial I found on replacing it will work fine, as well?

Man, that was easy.

Yup all you need is a 2.5 inch sata drive that is 9.5mm, some (older ones I think) are over 9.5mm but that one is fine.

Spend a few dollars more and get the 320 gig 7200rpm Hitachi travelstar.

It will actually be a bit faster and you won't regret the extra space either.
