Hey everyone, this is such a noob question, will this monitor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824112011)
work with my white 13 inch macbook?

If so should I go with a miniDVI to DVI or miniDVI to VGA?

To DVI. Don't degrade the signal with stupid VGA.

I just ordered this monitor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014173) from Newegg not an hour ago, for my Macbook with GMA 950. So it had better work.

Never 'daisy-chain' adapters. I tried this once, and I got quality worse than either of them alone.

Right. I'm planning on using a Mini-DVI to DVI adaptor, and then DVI straight in to the monitor. Of course, I'll have to order the adaptor, so I'll be able to try out the monitor with my Mini-DVI to VGA adaptor I have right now. Should be interesting seeing the difference.

Well, got my Mini DVI to DVI adaptor today. The image is so much sharper than with the VGA cable, and even a bit brighter, I'm lead to believe. Definitely worth it. I still amazed that my GMA 950 can drive this BenQ 24-incher at 1900x1280 so well. While running Age of Empires 3 (a bit of a push even at decent settings on this Macbook), my system ran hardly a degree hotter at 1900x1280, over my normal 1280x800 resolution I play at.
