Can Toast 6 create DVDs playable on Mac, PC, and set top player?

I burned a DVD processed with DVD2ONE (http://dvd2one.com/) as a data disc with the "DVD-ROM (UDF)" option in Toast 6 Titanium. It plays fine on my set top dvd player and mac, but my PC doesn't recognize the disc. Is this because PCs don't use or recognize the UDF format? If so, then is it possible to create a DVD from a VIDEO_TS folder that is playable on a PC, Mac, and set top player using Toast 6?

Try it on more PCs just to be sure it isn't the drive that's being picky. I burn DVDs that are read by Mac, PC, and set top boxes using Disk Utility.

After running the files through dvd2one I make an image of them using DVD Imager. Then I burn the image in Disk Utility and it plays in everything.

I've always heard that burning the VIDEO_TS folder with Toast to a DVD as a hybrid would make it a DVD-Video format. What format did you choose?

I selected the "DVD-ROM (UDF)" option under the Data tab. "Mac & PC" doesn't work. Do I need to use "Custom Hybrid"?

Just looking for an option that will enable my disks to be played in Mac, PC, and stand alone dvd player. Thanks.

The VIDEO_TS folder burn from Toast 6 under UDF will play on all formats, certainly folders from DVD Studio Pro do, it may be a function of how your authoring app multi-plexed the streams, or indeed a bit rate problem.

I burn 2 or 3 DVD's a week this way, and they work on the vast majority of systems.
