Color Profile will not "uncheck" itself...

So, I've been fooling with the color profiles and I've noticed that every time I uncheck "Show profiles for this display only," it always comes back checked. I'll uncheck it, close System Preferences, restart, etc, but it always comes back checked. This is only a minor annoyance, but is there any way to keep it unchecked?

Also, did three finger swipe ever work in System Preferences? (It does not work for me...)

This issue also occurs with my friend's Aluminum MacBook. So maybe it's "normal"...
