Hi,
I am looking into getting an iPod touch, but I can’t decide if I should buy it or wait for next year’s release. I love everything about the touch, except the fact that there is no Bluetooth. When the 2G was released, I heard it had a chip in it that many people thought could be later updated to function as a Bluetooth chip. If you know of anybody that has been able to use this chip for Bluetooth, knows if Apple plans to unlock this or has any other info or comments about the touch and Bluetooth, please reply. Thanks!

If you want bt, it's best you wait.
If you don't want to wait. Buy it now.

Or at least wait till jan Macworld.

You can get a bluetooth adapter for the iPod Touch (Sony makes a great one).

Search the topics here to find out about it. I've been using one for the last couple of weeks w/wireless headphones for music and my phone.
