Hey, so I recently got my developer application approved with Apple - as an Individual.

My first question is if I assign my iphone as a development device, can i still use it day in and day out? if not, how am i supposed to do testing?

Also, if I am an individual, what legal/business stuff do I have to do to start selling apps in the App store. What hurdles does Apple put in place?

How long will it take to do the above steps. Should I make a new bank account and everything? What about LLC and all that stuff, required?

How long does stuff like code signing and all the prep stuff for the app take - stuff delineated in the program portal. is it all based on how quickly i do things, or am i waiting for apple on some steps.

Heres my deal. I have a couple Apps in the pipeline. If I finish all the coding so that it works by say Dec. 10th, will I be able to get the App out by Christmas? How much of a buffer time do I need. Whats my deadline? I have no experience with this, any help is appreciated.
Thanks

If you're planning to release a free app then Dec 10th is no problem. If you want to charge for it then you need to jump through some hoops and wait for Apple to approve your paid-for contract. You can't release your app until they do. If you have a look at iTunes Connect then you should be able to see what you need to do. Start NOW as it can take Apple several weeks to approve your contract.

You can use a development device as a normal device also.

Chances are your income will be liable to some sort of taxation in your country. You should check this out. I'm in the UK so only know how it works here.

Code signing is a pain but doesn't actually take that long. Just follow the instructions on iTunes Connect.
