the scripts are really kinda nifty. where can i get more?

edit: os x/ the *.menu is in the applescript folder

Hold the apple (command) key and drag it out of the menu, much like the dock.

next time you should search for removing items from the menubar, you'll find quite a few threads about it and an even faster answer...
