I finally did it and got myself a little pre-christmas present:

the new MBA 1,86 Ghz /128 SSD and btw my machine has no problems with the horizontal lines issue but no 4 finger swipe (i am in germany, and hopefully apple will update this fault by a sw or firmware update soon)

But what really bothers me is how long it takes to get the internal battery fully charged. Any ideas how to speed up this process? When i am on the road i sometimes have only a few hours to allow for a charge and with my MBP this has never been a big deal....

How long do your charging last? Any comments?

The first one for calibration will take forever. Well, more like 6-8 hours. After that about 4 hours, 2 to 80%, 2 to 100%.

No way to really speed it up I'm afraid.
