I'm gonna be buying a macbook for school next year. Do you guys know when they start the back to school deals?
 
I believe it's during the summer you get around 100-200 dollar on imacs, mb, mbp etc.. on the educational discount.
 
You have close to 9 months to wait, and IMO will not add any value to waiting that long.

Either wait 9 months or spend 5 minutes on Amazon or ebay or macmall and get an even better deal.
 
education discount

you can show your student id at the store (sometimes they don't even ask) or on the website click on educational store . they'll ask you for your school. the prices will be the education prices (they don't discount ipods anymore though) but you do get up to $100 off macbooks, depending on model.
