Can anyone confirm having attempted to jailbreak/unlock iPhone or iPod Touch with the new MacBooks and MacBook Pros?

This would be disheartening news that could only be lightened with an announcement from the Dev Team that they have developed a work around

I can confirm that it does NOT work on a new MacBook for a first gen iPod Touch.

I copied Quickpwn and the newest 2.2 firmware to a CD, then tried on a PC, and it worked.

It was not intentional by Apple, it's a problem with the USB driver. Just plug in a USB hub and plug your phone into that, works fine.;)
