I just found mine and was wondering if that is what we are meant to wet and use to give the laptop a good detailing. I have been meaning to give mine a good thorough clean for a while then found this cloth and was curious what its actual intended purpose was.

Fair enough. i have used it to rub over the screen once or twice but i have seen reference in cleaning guides to a certain type of cloth used damp/wet and was wondering if this was said cloth.

The black cloth is why the MPBs are so expensive 😀

It's a nice little extra though I don't rely only on it to clean everything :apple:

The MPA have them too🙄

what would have been a nice little extra are the VGA/DVI adapters and remote. 😛

they're saving money by replacing it with a cloth.

ummmmmmmmm i got my adapter free with mine and the remote was like $5

I always wet my cloth that was provided by Apple for cleaning my screen and case. It works perfectly and when the cloth dries it is like new again. I have used iKlear and another product, but the lightly dampened cloth with water does just as good IMO and it is free.

Thanks. I just didn't want to wet my cloth and watch it fall to pieces in my hands/all over my laptop

Yeah from what i have heard, those things are almost required to keep a screen clean on the unibodies. I much prefer the keyboard of the classic. I love everything else about the unibodies and lust after them like you wouldnt believe but i much prefer my keyboard 😀

Wow those are beautifully made. I will have to keep that in mind for when i eventually cave in to my lust and go unibody

They couldn't just cut it to the size of the keyboard, could they?

It would have been nicer had they put the screen shake mechanism—the same as the ones used on DSLR sensors nowadays. Some microshakes and all the dust and stuffs fall right off.

Wish my roommate in college had that, man. He was filthy.
