does anyone know a quick and easy way to burn vcds on osx? does it require purchasing extra programs or can i do it using just the system itself? any help is sincerely appreciated, thanks. :confused:

i dont think its built in natively
you may require a copy of toast by roxio

I looked around... here's a useful website.

The first topic on that page deals with some free software that lets you burn movies directly from iMovie onto a VCD.
VCD Builder (http://homepage.mac.com/johan/)
This one has what appears to be a pretty nice menu building system; however it doesn't burn CDs directly. I'm sure there's a way to burn the bin/cue images without Toast under OS X, but I've never tried it myself.
Also, both are free.

Mpeg2Works is worth every penny of it's $19 IMO...
