They didn't make a 2.2GHz Mac Pro, so I'd look again. I can't tell you whether...

That's a laptop hard drive. It won't work.

You have a MacBOOK Pro, not a MacPro (which is a desktop).

And yes, that drive will work in your MacBook Pro. You just want to make sure whatever drive you get is 9.5mm (not 12.5mm) and SATA.

It will work in the Mac Pro as well if you can somehow mount the 2.5" drive in your 3.5" tray. To avoid confusing the OP: This drive will work in your laptop without special mounting; just swap.
