I get back home from running around, and i get on my comp and its a black screen. i restart, gives me the beautiful mac startup chord, but no white/gray screen, i just let it go, and it does boot up by default to windows, and osx okay, at least from the sounds of it...

i got no display, just a black screen, when i hook up a monitor to it, it wont do anything.

anyone got a clue what is going on? anyone have this trouble before? if so, lemme know... I will be taking this computer for repair soon.

Sounds like your graphics card has died, time to call apple, they should replace it free of charge, as this is a common flaw with the Nvidia graphics chips used in MBPs.
