The ICQ and mobile phone feature are pretty cool, I was iChat would have those (ahem!). Now if only AOhelL would do away with all that extra crap like the ticker and ads it would almost be worth having just for just once and a while usage.

Actually, you can put a name to any ICQ number just by accessing the address book entry, as you can with any other iChat buddy.
Additionally, you can turn off the tickers in AIM.
I'm just hoping that there are fewer bugs in the latest AIM, considering how iChat/AIM compatibility has been less than amazing this week for me.

Is it me, or does 4.7 seem significantly faster than the beta and previous versions?

I like how AOL is still using Jaguar.

AHHHH When will AIM for Windows get "FriendlyName" support?!?
My Mac has it with my choice of Adium, iChat, and now AIM.
On my PC, I have to use Trillian to get FriendlyName, but I hate Trillian. :D

Use DeadAIM.
Much better.
I'm still using Adium... or Adium 2.0
Good enough for me. :p

After installing 4.7 I've had a bunch of bugs that were never in 4.6 :(
Including:
-Unable to quit. Quitting brings up a pop-up for a brief second and then dissappearing then reappearing a few seconds later.
-Doesn't show up on the force quit selection screen
-Couldn't see buddies I added who were online and who showed up on iChat.
-Buddies didn't add to list after adding..
Hmmm..some upgrade

I still pray to my Adium and Aim (not lying here)
'Aim Version 4.5.967'

Screw your new Aim with new bugs and stuff... gah!
