the one feature i did like in internet explorer was that if you clicked on the url box once, it would highlight the entire URL to type in a new one. in safari, i have to triple click to highlight the whole box. does anyone know how to change it to be a one-click highlight?

If you click anywhere in the URL box (or if there is already a cursor there) and press "command-a" it will highlight the whole box.

If you click on the icon at the left of the address bar it will select the whole line. Alternatively, you can tab to it to select the whole line.

Or just press command - L and it selects the entire line. This also works in Firebird/fox (and for PC with control), IE (dunno about PC version, I think it does), and probably most other browsers out there.

alt + D for IE on Windows.
Command + L all the way, baby. ;)
