The 2.4 gHz Aluminum Macbook that I have been tracking is still on sale for $1399 (after rebate) at MacConnection (retail Apple price: $1599). Originally, they were saying that the sale would end on 12/1 (Monday). There is no end date listed anymore, although inventory is listed as "On Order" and it is possible to add it to the shopping cart and place the order.
