ipod no longer playing itms songs

I just transfered 2 songs I got off of the itms onto my ipod and went to listen to them and they would not play. The song shows up and then immediately switches to the next song without playing. I went through my ipod and discovered that none of my itms songs would play, but every other song plays just fine. Anyone know anything about this?

After trying everything else I could think of, I transfered all my music store songs from this mac to my other authorized mac and retransferred all the songs from there, and now they work. This computer is my primary one and is the machine that actually downloaded the songs, but now I have to transfer them to my less used/convenient computer before I put them on the ipod!! WTF is going on?

Open up iTunes, go to Advanced->Deauthorise Computer, and then reauthorise it, and see whether that helps. I haven't used iTMS (not available here) so I'm only guessing :)
