Well it seems the price tag hasn't deterred everyone..

Hopefully they will revise the UK price as the second article suggests, then maybe I'll get a mini to go with my 20GB!
What do you think is a reaonable price for it here in the UK? £150 would be rather tempting for a lot of people I think.

Does anyone else get the fan fair that Apple does when releasing a product? I have only heard Apple getting 100,000 people to buy a product the day it comes out, actually before it comes out. Or is it just that they are the only ones that anounce that stuff?
I don't know what 150 translates to in dollars her in the USA, but if it tranlastes to more than 200, I would wait for the price drop. The design is nice and small, but I have a 20 giger already, I don't need a smaller one, with less space, for about the same amount as the low end regualer iPod. If I didn't have this one, yeah, I would really think about getting one. I am thinking about getting one for my mom when I rack up the money.

Yes, they do--companies like Harley-Davidson, BMW, Gucci, Victoria's Secret. Companies with die-hard fans can get away with stuff like that. Companies like Toyota, Ford, and Dell can't.
