How to "steal" wi-fi using iphone

I always find a lot of wi-fi access points but most are always encrypted and ask for a network key.

is there any app or method which will allow me to borrow the persons net connection?

any help would be appreciated... if it helps most wi-fi access points are on a BT home hub router.
