Is there a way to kill the screen on an aluminium iMac without actually putting the whole machine to sleep. I sometimes want to connect to the machine from a remote location and can't get a connection when the machine is in sleep mode. As well, I don't want the screen to be on all the time.

It would be handy that the screen remains off when working on it remotely. Is there a solution to this?

In Expose & Spaces Preferences Pane, set up a hot corner for "Sleep Display"

Thanks.

Brilliant - thanks. You can't do that in Tiger (on my other machine, anyway). Assumed you still couldn't in Leopard.

Appreciate your help.
