For a my Technology Systems in Society class, I have to write a two to three page paper. Anyway i want to do it on the Bluetooth Technology. I know the basic things that it is used for, but i would like to know if anybody could give me some good and bad aspects of it. For example, what problems you have with it, or how you think that it has benefited your life, or lifestyle.

I was wondering about this stuff because i am one of the few that doesn't have a bluetooth enabled phone, car, or computer.

Another thing that I would like to know is, where everyone thinks that this technolgy will be in a couple of years, or in the future?

Any comments would be great, Thanks.

As per the basic functionality of bluetooth this is a very nice link (http://www.swedetrack.com/images/bluet13.htm) ..it also compares it withe existing wireless lan (in the link in the side bar)..
As per the new standard overtaking bluetooth, I read yesterday about a new standard UWB or ultra wide band..but now cant seem to find the source..so you may wanna google that.
cheers

Bluetooth is very nice for short range functions. I have the apple keyboard and mouse works great with powerbook but i have some problems with it with my G5. The G5 is on the left of my desk and I'm right handed with 2 displays infront. Sometimes if i move my mouse to the edge (right) of my desk its moves very slow and the keyboard types 4 letters at a time when pessing keys.
