Bad Battery?

I exchanged my iPhone and the battery on my new one lasts for a max of 3:30 hours of usage and I can NEVER get more than that! Is the battery defective? Everything else on this one is perfect. If I bring it into the Apple store will they exchange my phone AGAIN or can they simply replace my battery?

Run it all the way down to zero tonight, then recharge in the morning. test the life again.

If you are surfing and not talking for those 3.5 hrs, it prob is ok, :(

I only get that if I cheat and run my iPod for a bit to pump my stats up.
