although this probably isn't very ethical or correct, but its money to apple one way or another right?

I currently have the new macbook pro 15", which I purchased after 31st October (when the new christmas returns comes into play, where instead of 14-days, you get until the 8th of January).

Now, as a fan of the 17", I was bit annoyed when I had to go to the 15" for the new model. Now considering I have this 15" and can return with full money back up until the 8th, I am right in thinking I can keep using my 15" until then, return it, and hope the 17" is released at macworld like rumour has it?

I can't see why this could be flawed, and i've checked over the terms and conditions constantly and can't seem to see a slip up, so can anyone else?

I know this probably is "right", but apple are still getting there £2000 off me, so its still fair!

If the box is open you'll be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

If the box is open you'll be subject to a 10% restocking fee (per transaction).

I believe this is only to US customers, as i've returned a macbook pro within the 14-days before, and had absolutely no restocking fees (yes, the box was open, the macbook had been used, etc)

Fair that you use it for 9 weeks and expect a full return. OK.

if i was to return it after 9 weeks and then not replace it, then I could see how it was completely unfair. But because I need a computer to work inbetween, and purely waiting for apple to release the 17" like they should've in the first place, I don't see the problem. £2000 is better than £0 in my opinion.
