Take pictures with comp?

Does anybody know of a good camera that I can hook up to a computer and take pictures with it?

Kinda like a webcam but not...

The reason I ask is because im working on a stopmo project and i don't want to touch the camera between frames or you get that shifting effect.


Update: It seems that many dslr and other high end cams have remote controls you can buy. perfect. Ill would like to keep this thread open for some discussion anyway.

I know that Canon DSLRs come with software that enables you to control the camera with a computer.

So does Nikon. Its called tethered shooting. You could also get a wireless or corded remote control.
