Is fieldrunners any good?

Not sure if i want to spend 5 dolalrs on an app. Even though ive spent 7 on labyrhith. So is fieldrunners anything like tap defense? how many levels, how many towers can you build? how many different modes? save option? music?

If you compare TapDefense to Fieldrunners, you probably will think it's a small step backwards as FR only has 4 towers, and no such unlockable upgrades.

Fieldrunners is by far (IMO) the best app I have bought so far, it is polished, bug free, the graphics are amazing and silky smooth gameplay.

Read the reviews. In Australia, it's 5/5.Yeah, if FR were the only TD game in the store, I'd probably have a higher opinion of it. But with only two maps, no branching upgrade paths, only four tower types, no sandbox mode, and no story mode, I find it average, at best.

(BTW, I'm comparing it to the other TD games I own: Mote-M, Beseigement, TapDefense, and iTD. Of the five, FR is definitely the weakest in terms of replay value and depth)

it's a must buy if you like tower defense in starcraft/warcraft rts series.

I love fieldrunners! I would recommend the app to anyone. I think it's great :)

Graphics make it very user friendly.

if you want a good tower defense game that is similar to TapDefense, but has unlockable levels and loads of challenges, check out besiegement.
