Printer Networking Help

I bought a Canon MP620 printer and im having problem connecting it to my macbook. I set up the printer wirelessly through my family computer which is a dell. When i go to add the printer to my macbook, it says its an unsupported printer and it wont let me add it. Can anyone help me ?
