This isn't meant to rain on the parade, since I really do think Apple have done some decent work with OS X security and their record looks pretty darned good so far, but the numbers in that article don't really tell anything useful.
The study is looking at raw numbers of server attacks, but (at least going by the blurb in the article) isn't looking at the numbers of deployed servers for each operating system. There are probably still more Macs out there than machines running Linux, but how many of those Macs are being used as servers? How many of those Linux machines are used as clients?
I do hope that others put together reports along the same lines, since I suspect that OS X would come out looking pretty nice with a properly done survey.
