ok, i hooked up my macbook to my tv today
i have a new aluminum macbook
philips hdtv
i used the mini displayport to dvi adapter
then i used the dvi to hdmi cable for video
and all the video is working fine
first problem is audio
i have the monster cable stereo cables with the red and white audio on one end and the single plug on the other end
i have the ssingle plug hooked into the headphone jack and the red and white end plugged into the analog audio labeled HDMI (DVI) on the back of my tv.
any ideas?
next is, i want to be able to close my macbook when it is hooked to the tv, but when i do, the tv goes black and says no signal. i have mirror displays on.
any help would be appreciated.
