problems staying logged in to facebook? (with safari)

So the fb app keeps messing up a lot, so i decided to try to mobile site thru the internet. but i keeps logging me out almost immediately... anyone else experience this? any help?

I've noticed this too and it's not just on facebook...gmail/gcalendar/gchat/yahoo/any website that i log in like macrumors' forums...but sadly don't have a solution...

nm, found another thread with the answer...OP are you on a jailbroken iPhone? this seems to have worked for me...

I had the same problem with my iPod touch 1.1.4 I was jailbroken and found a resource that saved cookies now on a 3G iPhone 2.2 it saves cookies not to mention it restored my back up from my iPod touch(not sure if that's why)

I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem.

I log into facebook but after a couple minutes I'm logged out.

That's on "big" Safari, not mobile Safari.

I'm having the same problem, and thats with Safari 4 developer as well.

Do you guys have Facebook chat on Adium logged in at the same time that you're browsing Facebook?

could be the case. I have the facebook chat disabled in adium, but the problem occurred anyway, as far as I remember.

Once I changed facebooks password everything went smooth again.

first I thought my account got hacked.

Yes this problem just arose for me as well. I'm using Safari 5 and it is very frustrating.

I'm having the issue as well, and it seems to have only started happening recently (Safari 5.0.1). Very frustrating. I've reset the browser, cleared the cache and deleted all Facebook cookies but it still keeps happening.

Oh, and I've changed my Facebook password. 😡

I still have an issue with being Not being logged in on most sites (using Safari 5.0.3)

Anyone found the answer?

I think it has to do with the fact that if you are logging in on other devices, like computers or laptops then it logs you out on your Iphone.

I could be wrong but that seems to be my experience, that once I log in on a laptop or computer after being logged in on my phone I usually have to log back in on my Iphone
