MacBook Air Superdrive Firmware? Free-DVD Drive?

I've recently downloaded Region X to play DVDs without having limited choices, now I want to know, how do I make my drive region-free?

I've googled for solutions but I still can't find some, I've downloaded one, and then it says it isn't needs, now what? 😕
