Your question is confusing. An iPod can only be hooked up to one computer at a time. Do you mean that you want to sync the playlists from two computers onto one iPod? Or do you want to sync your address book, what on earth are you syncing?

sorry, i wanted to sync itunes on my home and work computers. just the songs, not anything else. basically, i want to be able to add a song at home, listen to it on the ipod and also sync at work, so the same songs are there as well.

You have to copy the songs and the itunes library back and forth (use the iPod as an external hard drive). The iPod is designed this way to prevent easy piracy (e.g., I sync to my computer, my bro's computer, my friend's computer...).
No way to get around this unless you store your actual song files on the iPod.
