Hi MacRumors. We <3 you so we've been working on a new (super easy to use!) app. It's called PunchClock. It lets you track time and generate HTML or csv reports automagically by accessing your phone via WIFI. Best of all, it'll only cost 99 cents. :)

Thanks! I'll try to put up a video soon. We're in final testing now and hope to push it to Apple in the next day or two. :)

I watched the video, but I don't know what I would use this app for.
Who are you targeting with this app?

That looks very useful! Now if you added milage tracking to it, it would cover everything I have been looking for lately. ;)

Looks like lawyers or private contractors, who bill hourly.

Yup, or anyone who works hourly (designers, anyone who does side work, plumbers, bestbuy, etc. if you want to make sure the hours you're paid are really what you worked).
It's also useful for anyone who wants to keep track of what time spent. At that point "Clients" would really just be categories. For example, if you're a student one category might be physics, another might be calculus, software engineering, etc. Make sense?

Figured I'd bump this thread instead of creating another one. PunchClock was released to the App Store today. It's $0.99 for a limited time so pick it up if you need something to keep track of time. There is one known bug: PunchClock crashes if you delete the "Show another month" row so don't do that (whoops!). We've already fixed said bug and sent a build to Apple so don't worry, 1.0.1 will be available soon. The intro price will be around for a few days for those of you who want to save a buck or two. :)

If you were a consultant you would! Might make a nice upgrade to attach some notes (voice notes) to the next version..
Sometimes I do things for people and typing in the notes would be a pain.
